Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of muunee.co (the “Site”), operated byMuunee (“muunee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, joining the waitlist, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What muunee is (and is not)

2.1. muunee is a software platform being built to help groups of people coordinate the co-ownership of property — pooled contribution tracking, ownership visibility, shared expenses, rental income tracking, and group decision-making. The Site currently exists to describe the product and collect waitlist signups.

2.2. Not a broker, adviser, or fund. muunee is not a real estate broker, investment adviser, broker-dealer, law firm, accounting firm, or bank, and nothing on the Site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, property, or investment. Decisions about buying property, structuring ownership, and moving money are yours and your group's, made with your own professional advisers.

2.3. No guarantee of outcomes. Property values go down as well as up, groups fall out, and laws differ by country and state. We do not guarantee any financial outcome, return, appreciation, rental yield, or the success of any group purchase.

3. Waitlist and early accounts

3.1. Joining the waitlist stores your email address so we can contact you about muunee. It does not reserve you any product feature, price, or right, and does not create any customer or fiduciary relationship.

3.2. If you create an account, you are responsible for your credentials and for the accuracy of the information you provide. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your group is your responsibility

muunee provides tooling for groups, not the group itself. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your co-owners, we do not mediate disputes between group members, and records kept on the platform do not replace legally binding agreements between co-owners. Put your ownership structure in writing with qualified counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.

5. Intellectual property

5.1. The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, the muunee name and marks, page designs, and code — are owned by Muunee or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except for normal browsing and sharing of links.

5.2. You retain ownership of content and data you submit to the platform. You grant us the license needed to operate the service — storing, displaying, and processing that content for you and your group.

6. Third-party services and links

The Site references and may link to third-party products and services. Those are independent companies. We do not control them, are not affiliated with them unless expressly stated, and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or practices. Trademarks of third parties belong to their respective owners; references do not imply endorsement in either direction.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system or account, interfering with the Site's operation, scraping at disruptive volume, uploading malicious code, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.

8. No warranties; Site provided “as is”

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUUNEE AND ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9.2. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Muunee and its founders, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is harmful to us, other users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12) survive termination.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Muunee is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction. This section will be updated with the specific entity and venue once incorporation is complete.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
